Wow, I still can’t believe it! I got the phone call during spring break and have been dumbfounded ever since! The scholarship is for $5000, which is so very very awesome, but I’m even more excited to go to the Reuben Awards! One of the professors here at SCAD is actually one of the speakers and I can’t even imagine meeting so many amazing cartoonists, I’m already a nervous wreck over it. It’s incredibly humbling and I’m just super excited (and nervous and excited and nervous, oh bejeezus).

Congratulations! Your art is fantastic and trust me, you’ll adore the Reubens! When I went last year it was the best time of my life, and things have been looking up for me ever since then.
