(Spoilers for the Korra season finale)

You know, as much of an asshole Amon was, he was a pretty fascinating character. Even with the cheesy, random backstory inserted at last minute, I still enjoyed watching him on screen. It was just so interesting to see Korra be absolutely terrified of this guy, both physically and mentally. Just look at her expression in “Out of the Past” (my favorite episode). She is in shambles!

I think that’s why I really enjoyed this moment in the finale. This entire season he was always in control, but then suddenly WHAM! He’s vulnerable. The jig is up. 

So ode to you Amon, the coolest bad guy Korra will probably ever face.
